Job Summary
Assess and reassess the health care needs of individuals, analyze findings to determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes, and provide interventions guided by evidence-based practice and policy. Evaluate patient outcomes using critical thinking to recognize problems and reach sound conclusions, while assessing discharge needs. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care across 45, 12, and 13-bed emergency departments at a Level III trauma center. Maintain current Oklahoma Registered Nurse licensure and Basic Life Support certification. New grads must complete the Nurse Residency Program.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN)
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
- New grads must complete Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Previous experience in healthcare field
