Job Summary

Lead interdisciplinary rounds to facilitate appropriateness of care and smooth transitions for complex patients in the Emergency Department. Provide direct and safe patient care based on the nursing process while coordinating assigned patients to promote clinical outcomes. Actively participate in unit councils to improve nursing sensitive indicators, RN satisfaction, and patient experience data. Serve as a resource for students and assume a beginning clinical bedside leadership role with mentorship opportunities. Apply evidence-based practice and Sister Simone Roach's 7 Cs of Caring to daily work, ensuring open dialogue and continuous development. Maintain de-escalation training certification and support unit-based selfcare activities. Requires Georgia RN licensure, ADN or Diploma, and at least one year of RN experience.
