Job Summary
Conduct emergency department nursing care in a Level I Trauma Center environment, managing patients with trauma, cardiac, stroke, and critical care cases. Provide timely, high-quality care to approximately 10% trauma-related cases while collaborating with experienced providers and interdisciplinary teams. Work the 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. night shift with every other weekend availability and required holiday rotation. Maintain BLS certification within 90 days and hold an active RN license, with BSN preferred. Join a Magnet hospital recognized by the Emergency Nurses Association Lantern Award for exceptional leadership and practice.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing
- Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Night shift availability (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.)
- Every other weekend availability
- Holiday Rotation
- Full-time, 36 hours per week commitment
- Registered Nurse (RN) status
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or MSN
- Prior RN experience
- Emergency Department experience
- Strong candidates with related acute care, critical care, intermediate care, trauma, cardiac, stroke, or med/surg experience
