Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate safe patient care for Emergency Department patients while guiding family teaching and directing other nursing personnel in Telemetry. Directly account for patient care changes, communicate clinical updates and diagnostic results to physicians, and respond quickly to condition shifts or treatment responses. Adhere to EMTALA regulations and report child or adult abuse to appropriate agencies and the Hospital Social Worker, maintaining strict patient privacy and confidentiality. Full-time night shifts (7p–7:30a) with hourly rates ranging from $35.35 to $53.58. Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current ALS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
- Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 60 days upon hire and maintain current
- ECRN or MICN certificate required within 12 months of hire and maintained current
- EDAP certified facilities: Completion of required annual education
- Non-OB facilities: NRP certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current
- Trauma designated facilities: Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within 12 months of hire and maintain
- Non-trauma facilities, TNCC preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
