Job Summary
Assess patient status, determine priority of problems and needs, and implement clinical nursing interventions in a fast-paced, high-intensity emergency department setting. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and perform patient care plans, evaluate updates, and revise plans to facilitate expected outcomes. Serve as the point of contact for care coordination throughout hospital departments while administering medications safely in accordance with state practice and organizational policies. Provide care to a broad spectrum of patients ranging from short-stay to trauma cases.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- BLS Basic Life Support
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- One (1) year of professional experience practicing as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Recent Emergency Department or Critical Care experienced preferred, not required
Desired Qualifications
- Recent Emergency Department or Critical Care experienced preferred, not required
- EPIC Electronic Health Record training (preferred, not required)
