Job Summary
Provide high-quality medical care to the sickest and most vulnerable patients in the Emergency Department, offering a compassionate presence during stressful and uncertain times. Deliver critical care nursing services requiring Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications. Work night shifts from 7pm to 7am, 36 hours per week, every other weekend at Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, IL. Maintain licensure in the state of practice and adhere to the Nurse Licensure Compact rules if applicable. Join a multi-institutional health care system serving communities throughout Illinois and Wisconsin with over 145 years of service to patients.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice
- Bachelor's of science in nursing
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice
- Valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- COVID-19 vaccines or an approved medical or religious exemption
- Night Shift, 36 hrs/wk, 7pm-7am, every other weekend
