Job Summary
Assess, prioritize, and triage patients with acute, life-threatening conditions using established clinical protocols. Provide emergency nursing care, administer medications and IV therapies, and operate life-support equipment while monitoring patient status. Collaborate with physicians, EMS, and the interdisciplinary team to assist with trauma care and stabilization. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and maintain accurate electronic medical record documentation. Full-time night shifts (7p–7:30a) with 3–12 hour rotations. Competitive hourly rate of $35.35 to $53.58 plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate
- Current ACLS certificate
- Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation
- Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting
- MICN within 12 months of hire and maintain current (for Paramedic Base Station ED)
- Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire (for EDAP certified facilities)
- NRP certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current (for Non-OB facilities)
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within 12 months of hire and maintain (for Trauma designated facilities)
