Job Summary
Assess, prioritize, and triage patients with acute, life-threatening conditions using established clinical protocols. Provide emergency nursing care, administer medications and IV therapies, and operate life-support equipment while monitoring patient status and communicating changes to the team. Assist with trauma care, diagnostic testing, and patient stabilization, collaborating with physicians, EMS, and the interdisciplinary care team. Educate patients and families on diagnoses and discharge instructions, maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Full-time night shifts (7p-7:30a) with 3-12 hour rotations. Competitive hourly rate of $35.35 to $53.58 plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
- Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
- Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting
- MICN within 12 months of hire and maintain current
- Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire
- NRP certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within 12 months of hire and maintain
Desired Qualifications
- E.R. setting preferred
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Non-trauma facilities, TNCC preferred
