Job Summary

Assess, prioritize, and triage patients with acute illness, injury, and life-threatening conditions using established clinical protocols. Provide emergency nursing care, administer medications and IV therapies, and operate life-support equipment while monitoring patient status and communicating changes to the healthcare team. Collaborate with physicians, EMS, and the interdisciplinary team to assist with trauma care and diagnostic testing, while educating patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and promote patient safety. Requires current state RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications within 30 days, plus one year of acute care ER experience. Full-time night shifts (7p–7:30a) with an hourly rate of $35.35 to $53.58 and a $10,000 sign-on bonus available.

Required Qualifications

  • Current and valid state RN License
  • Current BLS certificate
  • Current ACLS certificate
  • Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC
  • Basic Arrythmia Interpretation
  • Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting
  • MICN within 12 months of hire
  • Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire
  • NRP certificate 90 days upon hire
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within 12 months of hire

Desired Qualifications

  • E.R. setting experience
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • TNCC for non-trauma facilities
