Job Summary
Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions while assisting with care plans to promote short- and long-term outcomes. Deliver safe, effective care according to policies, coordinate daily patient flow, and maintain comprehensive documentation of assessments and incidents. Serve as a patient advocate by listening to concerns, providing education on health-related issues, and communicating necessary information to families and providers. Prioritize actions based on patient needs and report pertinent information to appropriate individuals. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, maintain professional licenses and certifications, and foster growth through mentorship and preceptorship. Support shared governance through service on councils and sponsored activities.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support or ARC-PALS - Amer Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS-I - PALS - Instructor or PALS-P - PALS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- TNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course or ATCN - Adv Trauma Care for Nurses Cer or TNCC-P - Trauma Nurse Core Course - Provisional (18 Months) within 18 Months
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
