Job Summary
Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions while delivering care plans that promote short- and long-term outcomes. Collaborate with staff to coordinate daily patient flow, maintain accurate documentation of assessments and care changes, and serve as an educational resource for patients and families. Prioritize actions based on patient needs, uphold confidentiality and safety standards, and participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance work processes and patient quality outcomes. Maintain professional licenses, complete required training such as BLS and ACLS, and mentor other nurses through preceptorship and shared governance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support or ARC-PALS - Amer Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS-I - PALS - Instructor or PALS-P - PALS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- TNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course or ATCN - Adv Trauma Care for Nurses Cer or TNCC-P - Trauma Nurse Core Course - Provisional (18 Months) within 18 Months
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
