Job Summary
Coordinate comprehensive patient care in the 16-bed SouthPark Emergency Department, utilizing evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making to deliver safe, therapeutic services. Manage the nursing process for patients requiring urgent attention, ensuring alignment with established standards, policies, and procedures while fostering the safest patient environment. Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and obtain ACLS within six months of hire, with a preference for candidates possessing one year of critical care experience. Operate on a part-time weekend night schedule from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., earning between $38.20 and $57.30 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- At least 6 months of RN experience
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of Critical Care experience
