Job Summary
Provide and direct clinically appropriate patient care to individuals or groups in the emergency department, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physician, and family while assisting with activities of daily living such as hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care, manage transfers, and address spiritual or psychosocial needs. Evaluate learning needs of patients and families to provide appropriate education, establish individualized nursing diagnoses, and adjust care plans based on best practices. Function successfully in all emergency situations and promptly identify and address patient problems through regular assessments. Requires a Virginia RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certification, two years of critical care experience, and night shift availability.
Required Qualifications
