Job Summary
Emergency Department RN delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include conducting the nursing process, coordinating care through effective partnerships, advocating for patients and families, participating in performance improvement initiatives, supporting protocol development, and ensuring timely documentation and compliance with safety standards. Requires active RN license (Georgia or compact) and current BLS/PALS/TNCC/ACLS certifications; minimum 5 years RN experience; strong communication, critical thinking, and time-management skills. Day shift in the Georgia-based ED.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years RN experience
- Associates nursing diploma or nursing bachelor's degree preferred
- RN license (single state or compact)
- BLS certification
- PALS certification (or ARC-PALS)
- TNCC (or equivalent)
- ACLS (or equivalent)
- English language proficiency
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
- Proficient with healthcare technology and documentation systems
- Ability to provide patient-centered, evidence-based care
- Preceptorship/mentoring responsibilities preferred
