Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and supervise nursing care for residents in long-term and/or rehabilitative settings. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care per Nurse Practice Act and facility policies; directing care by other nursing staff; maintaining documentation and equipment knowledge; ensuring resident/family education; and complying with rights and confidentiality. Requires active RN license in Florida, at least one year of medical/surgical experience, and willingness to work rotating shifts including holidays and weekends. Role emphasizes adherence to standards of care, patient safety, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of practice.
- Must be a graduate of a basic education program in professional nursing.
- Minimum of one year medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care or long-term care setting (acute/critical care is preferred).
- Must have reliable transportation.
