Job Summary
Deliver, direct, and supervise care to patients admitted to the dialysis nursing unit under the direction of nursing leadership. Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization. Oversee dialysis treatments for patients with acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians. Perform related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities, with ACLS certification required from day one. Required Qualifications
- RN License in the state you are applying
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment
- Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC)
