Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Dialysis (Home Therapies RN CAP 1) responsible for coordinating and delivering clinically competent home dialysis care, including patient assessment, education, planning, and evaluation for an assigned group of patients. Works with the End Stage Kidney Disease team to support home dialysis training and treatment, documents care in medical records, administers medications per algorithms, participates in quality improvement, staff training, and education of patients and families, and collaborates with the home care partner and interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective dialysis delivery and appropriate transplant/treatment modality education.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
- Minimum of 12 months experience as an RN
- Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience as a Registered Nurse
- Home dialysis therapy experience (preferred)
