Job Summary
Provides care and treatment to patients on maintenance dialysis within the scope of nursing practice. Oversees and delegates to department staff, ensures water room equipment operation compliance, adheres to safety and infection control standards, documents in patient records, supports CMS/ESRD regulatory and quality initiatives, coordinates care with Medical Director and health-care team, acts as patient/family advocate, and delivers patient education on dialysis processes and self-care for home dialysis patients and/or caregivers. Requires active RN license; preferred certifications in nephrology (CHN, CPDN, CDN) and dialysis expertise.
