Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Same Day Surgery and PACU while supporting the medical staff treatment plan. Educate patients and families regarding the plan of care and disease management. Actively support the nursing philosophy by striving for excellence in patient care, professional development, interpersonal relations, time management, and continuous quality improvement. Requires an Associate degree in Nursing, unrestricted Colorado RN license, and 2+ years of relevant experience. Full-time days shift with 12-hour rotations and night/weekend differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- 2+ years of relevant nursing experience
- Experience in PACU, ICU, ED, step-down, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing
- Experience with EPIC
- Bilingual in Spanish
