Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg Oncology responsible for educating patients and families, serving as a role model for Level I nurses, using electronic resources to support best practices, developing care plans, identifying changes in patient condition, mentoring staff, and ensuring evidence-based, patient-centered care while adhering to ANA standards and Adventist HealthCare values during day shift on the Med Surg unit.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Passing score on NCLEX
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Current Maryland State nursing license
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area
