Registered Nurse (RN), Day Shift, Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)

Educate patients and families through the continuum of care while mentoring students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered practices. Serve as a role model for Level I nurses by using electronic resources to support best practices and developing individualized plans of care. Accurately identify impending changes in patient conditions to initiate corrective action, conduct purposeful rounding from the patient and family perspective, and delegate non-nursing duties to maximize efficiency. Apply evidence-based findings from literature searches to identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care and participate in practice changes. Demonstrate professionalism adhering to ANA standards and Adventist HealthCare values while utilizing equipment and technology correctly.
