Educate patients and families through the continuum of care while serving as a role model to Level I nurses. Develop individualized plans of care for the ICU population, accurately identify impending patient condition changes, and initiate corrective action. Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care, conduct purposeful rounding from the patient and family perspective, and participate in evidence-based practice improvements. Use equipment and technology correctly to delegate non-nursing duties and maximize efficiency. Apply findings from efficient literature searches to advance clinical skills and best practices.
