Job Summary
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) needed at Fort Washington Medical Center. Responsibilities include educating patients/families across the continuum of care, mentoring team members, demonstrating professionalism per ANA standards, utilizing equipment and electronic resources to support best practices, developing care plans, identifying changes in patient condition, conducting purposeful rounding, performing literature searches to inform practice, and participating in evidence-based practice changes. Requires nursing degree, NCLEX, Maryland RN license, BLS, and specialty-area ACLS/PALS/NRP as needed. Full-time, day shift with weekend rotation and benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Passing score on NCLEX
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Current Maryland State nursing license
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area
