Progressive Care (Step down) Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients by assessing status, acting as the liaison between Med-Surg and ICU, prioritizing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, ensuring a safe environment, and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include ongoing patient assessment, care coordination across hospital departments, participating in quality improvement, administering medications safely, and serving as a patient safety advocate. Qualifications include RN licensure, 1 year of RN experience, and BLS/ACLS certification requirements (ACLS due within 6 months, with preferred ACLS). Education: BSN preferred but not required. Shift: Nights; 36 hours weekly; with sign-on incentives available.
