Registered Nurse RN CVOR OR Cardiovascular Operating Room

Job Summary
Circulating RN in the CVOR and Main OR, collaborating with surgeons and support staff to provide nursing care for cardiovascular procedures. Responsibilities include assisting physicians with advanced tasks/equipment (cardiopulmonary bypass/heart-lung machine use, transesophageal echocardiography, vascular access), planning and evaluating patient care, supervising activities of the health care team, documenting care in the patient record, and contributing to ongoing quality improvement. Requires active RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of OR experience. Day shift with on-call; sign-on bonus referenced in the posting. The role operates within Banner Estrella Medical Center’s OR environment and supports perioperative services with a focus on patient safety and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in state of practice (or compact license)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of one year RN experience in the operating room
- New to service/new operating room nurses may need Perioperative Academy curriculum within first year (as applicable)
