Job Summary
Lead interdisciplinary rounds to facilitate appropriateness of care and smooth transitions across the continuum while providing direct, safe patient care based on the nursing process. Effectively prioritize and delegate care to promote clinical outcomes, incorporating safety behavior and error prevention tools. Actively participate in unit councils to improve NDNQI nursing sensitive indicators, RN satisfaction, and patient experience data. Apply evidence-based practice and seek feedback to continuously improve clinical practice within the specialty area. Maintain de-escalation training certification and model safe work hours, time management, and stewardship. Demonstrate cultural intelligence and hold peers accountable for healthy relationships while supporting unit-based shared governance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia
- Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma
- At least 1 year of RN experience
- Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations
- Meets experience requirements upon hire
- Up to 100 lbs weight lifted
- Up to 50 lbs weight carried
- Moderate vision (31-65%)
