Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care role in CVICU at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center and Windy Hill Hospital populations. The nurse is part of an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, safe patient care, guided by the Wellstar Professional Practice Model and evidence-based practice. Key duties include providing proactive, individualized patient care, adhering to nursing standards and ethics, maintaining certifications (BLS, ACLS, and related), and supporting service-excellence goals. Requires active RN licensure (Georgia or multi-state) with minimum clinical hours during nursing education and ability to read, write, and communicate in English; strong interpersonal, collaborative, and critical thinking skills; ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN-Compact (Multi-state)
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS
- ACLS-I/ACLS-P ACLS-Provisional within 180 Days
- Licensure upon hire as RN in Georgia or multi-state compact
- Experience: Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience during nursing program
