Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care at Wellstar (Kennestone Regional Medical Center / Windy Hill Hospital) is a proactive, interdisciplinary team member delivering high-quality, safe patient care in a critical care environment. Must be a licensed RN (Georgia) with required certifications (BLS, ACLS; RN-Compact or single-state RN), and possess strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and time management skills. The role supports evidence-based practice within Wellstar’s practice model, with emphasis on patient and family-centered care, professional ethics, and contribution to a high-performing clinical team. Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma Nursing or Bachelors Nursing (Required Minimum Education)
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- Less than 1 year completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative and customer service skills; ability to function in fast-paced environment; strong critical thinking; time management; English language proficiency
- Licensure and certification requirements as stated above and must be obtained upon hire
