Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center (and Windy Hill Hospital) working in a high-acuity ICU setting. The role emphasizes proactive interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver high-quality, safe patient care; requires an RN with at least an associates/diploma (or Bachelor’s preferred) and active nursing license with BLS and ACLS certifications. Responsibilities include applying evidence-based practice, supporting nurse managers and leadership models, and upholding the voice of the patient while adhering to hospital policies and ethical standards. Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma Nursing or Nursing Bachelor's - Preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse license (single-state or multi-state compact)
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS certification (and Instructor or ACLS-P optional)
- Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience (clinical hours during nursing program)
- Strong English communication and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies with decisive, respectful manner
- Interdisciplinary team collaboration and professional practice adherence
- Licensure standards as per Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
- Role supports service excellence goals
- Valid nursing license upon hire or eligibility for licensure in Georgia
