Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate safe patient care for assigned patients within the Custody Unit. Direct patient and family teaching while guiding activities of other nursing personnel. Maintain standards of care and communicate with physicians regarding changes in clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response. Requires current state RN license, BLS certification, and NHISS certification. Full-time day shift.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate
- NHISS (Stroke Scale) certification
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience
- Ventilator Management experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
