Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Unit, you will provide compassionate care for critical patients by developing positive relationships and utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, teaching, and supervision. Key responsibilities include managing patient care, delivering evidenced-based care, evaluating diagnostic tests, and documenting nursing assessments. A current RN license is required along with BLS Certification and possibly ACLS and PALS certifications. Strong emphasis on safety, adherence to policies, and maintaining patient care quality is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license to practice in the State of Georgia
- American Heart Association BLS Certification required within first week of orientation
- Ability to administer medications according to Health System policy
- Participation in infection control policies and practices
- Experience in managing critical patients
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Certifications in ACLS, PALS, and NRP if applicable
