Job Summary
Prescribe nursing care, delegate activities, and coordinate the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the Critical Care Unit. Manage full access to patient health information while ensuring optimal quality care aligns with hospital standards and nursing philosophy. Maintain full range of body motion for extended periods of standing, sitting, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Work a full-time day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in North Carolina
- Certification in BCLS
- ACLS required within 1 year of hire
- PALS required within 1 year of hire
- Successful completion of a hospital and unit-specific orientation which includes age and population specific skills for the area of practice in which the RN will be working and addresses the growth and development needs for the patients for whom the RN will be providing nursing care
- Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
