Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to ICU/PCU/Med Surg patients, perform comprehensive nursing assessments, formulate and implement nursing care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Role includes teaching plans, patient education, and potential Charge responsibilities as requested. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas RN (or compact) license, BLS and ACLS, and ICU/critical care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- Current BLS provider
- Current ACLS proof
- Minimum of two years’ experience in critical care, ICU, hospital experience within the last three years
- BSN within 24 months of hire/transfer into RN position (for those hired after 6/1/12)
