Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Super Pool role at Medical City Dallas requires delivering comprehensive, goal-directed nursing care to ICU/PCU/Med Surg patients, performing thorough nursing assessments, formulating and implementing nursing care plans, and providing education and emotional support to patients and families. Responsibilities include caring for multiple patients directly or via delegation, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and assuming charge duties as required. Must have an RN license in Texas (or a compact license), BLS and ACLS, with a minimum of two years of critical care/ICU experience. BSN within 24 months of hire is required for hires after 6/1/12. The position is full-time, daytime shift, with a 10K sign-on bonus potential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- Current BLS provider
- Current ACLS
- Minimum of two years’ experience in critical care, ICU, hospital experience within the last three years
- BSN within 24 months of hire/transfer into RN position (if hired after 6/1/12)
