Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Super Pool in a busy Dallas acute-care setting. Responsibilities include directing and providing comprehensive nursing care for ICU/PCU patients, performing comprehensive nursing assessments, formulating and implementing individualized care plans, teaching patients and families about health maintenance and recovery, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary team members. Requires BSN within 24 months of hire/transfer (if hired after 6/1/12), minimum two years of critical care/ICU experience, Texas RN license or compact license, and current BLS and ACLS; able to assume Charge responsibilities as needed. This role is offered as FT Nights.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
- BSN within 24 months of hire/transfer into RN position (if hired after 6/1/12)
- Minimum of two years’ experience in critical care ICU or recent hospital experience
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- Current BLS provider
- Current ACLS required
