Job Summary
Provide care for patients requiring higher acuity monitoring including drips, chest tubes, and central lines while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting. Manage frequent admissions, discharges, and transfers with a focus on safety and outcomes. The unit serves a complex cardiothoracic, post-surgical, and telemetry population within a structured, team-driven environment. Schedule options include full-time, part-time, and supplemental shifts. Associates Degree in Nursing with an RN license and BLS certification required; Bachelor's degree and specialty certifications preferred. Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- RN license (WI or compact eligible & Trauma nursing core course
- BLS required (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Certification in specialty preferred
- ACLS, PALS or NRP preferred based on primary department
- 3+ years practicing as an RN in a comparative setting for experienced nurses
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
