Job Summary
Provide care for patients requiring higher acuity monitoring including drips, chest tubes, and central lines. Collaborate with a strong interdisciplinary team to manage frequent admissions, discharges, and transfers while delivering patient-centered care focused on safety and outcomes. Work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment caring for cardiothoracic, post-surgical, and telemetry patients. This role offers exposure to advanced cardiac and critical care pathways within a structured, team-driven setting. The unit is expanding into a new cardiac-focused tower, providing opportunities for growth into Charge RN and specialty positions.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- RN license (WI or compact eligible & Trauma nursing core course
- BLS required (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Certification in specialty preferred
- ACLS, PALS or NRP preferred based on primary department
- 3+ years practicing as an RN in a comparative setting for experienced nurses
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
