Job Summary

Lead interdisciplinary rounds to facilitate appropriateness of care and smooth transitions across the continuum for complex patients. Provide direct and safe patient care based on the nursing process while coordinating assigned shifts to promote clinical outcomes. Actively participate in unit councils and Nursing Quality Teams to improve nursing sensitive indicators, RN satisfaction, and patient experience data. Serve as a resource for students and assume a beginning clinical bedside leadership role within the shared governance model. Effectively delegate care while retaining accountability for quality, and apply evidence-based practice to identify and address clinical, social, and safety issues.
