Job Summary
RN – Critical Care Float Pool responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care across units; supervises non-RN personnel, may act as charge nurse, and demonstrates competencies in neuro assessment, airway management, ventilator care, tracheostomy suctioning, Halo brace care, and education for patients and families; collaborates with healthcare team to develop and revise individualized plans of care and ensure readiness for discharge; supports the organization’s values and mission while delivering high-quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing
- BSN Preferred
- 1 Year acute nursing experience required
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
- Proficient In Use Of Computer Software To Include Electronic Health Records/Electronic Patient Records
- Experience: 1 Year Acute RN Experience Required. Critical Care or Emergency experience preferred.
