Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Critical Care Float Pool. Responsibilities include assessing and planning individualized patient care, implementing and evaluating care plans, coordinating with the healthcare team, and educating patients and families. Serves as a preceptor to new staff and may act as Charge Nurse. Demonstrates neuro-focused skills: neuro assessment, airway management of neuro patients, tracheostomy suctioning, care of patients on ventilators, and familiarity with Halo braces. Requires BSN preferred, at least 1 year of acute nursing experience, and CT RN licensure; BLS is required. Provides education opportunities and supports nursing workflow and performance expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing; BSN Preferred
- 1 Year acute nursing experience required
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
- Critical Care or Emergency experience preferred
