Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care Float Pool

Registered Nurse (RN) in Critical Care Float Pool provides advanced inpatient nursing care, assesses and plans individualized care, and may serve as charge nurse and preceptor. Responsibilities include supervising non-RN staff, developing and documenting a care plan, coordinating with the healthcare team, and ensuring high levels of service. Competencies include neuro assessment, airway management including tracheostomy suctioning, care for trached patients, ventilator support, and knowledge of neuro procedures and Halo brace care. Requires proficiency with electronic records, education for patients and families, and terminal care planning aligned with unit policies. BSN preferred; 1 year of acute nursing experience required; BLS; CT RN license. Demonstrates capability in education, patient-family collaboration, and adherence to performance expectations.
