Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care Float Pool

Registered Nurse (RN) provides critical care and neuro-focused nursing on a float pool, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individualized patient care on a nursing unit. Responsibilities include supervising non-RN personnel, serving as charge nurse, and acting as a preceptor to new staff. Collaborates with the healthcare team to coordinate care, documents plans of care, and ensures education for patients and families. Demonstrates competency in neuro assessment, airway management, and various neuro procedures, including suctioning and care for tracheostomy and ventilated patients, aligned with the facility's policies and the Tia teaching program.
