Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Critical Care Float Pool providing continuous patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care; supervision of non-RN personnel; and charge nurse duties as assigned. Requires BSN preferred and at least 1 year of acute nursing experience; BLS certification; and CT RN license. Utilizes nursing processes to develop and communicate care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the healthcare team. Demonstrates competency in neuro assessment and care, airway management, and ventilator support as part of neuro-focused care. Supports high-quality patient care within the unit through ongoing evaluation and staff development.
Required Qualifications
- BSN Preferred
- 1 Year acute nursing experience required
- BLS Required
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
