Registered Nurse (RN) in Critical Care Float Pool at YNHHS. Responsibilities include assessing the patient’s physical and psychosocial condition, developing and documenting a plan of care, implementing and coordinating care with the healthcare team, evaluating outcomes and readiness for discharge, planning education for patients and families, and providing mentorship as a preceptor and charge nurse. Demonstrates competency in neuro care (neuro assessment, airway management, care of a patient with tracheostomy or ventilator, and related procedures) and use of the TI A Teaching Program. Qualifications include BSN preferred, 1 year acute nursing experience required, Connecticut RN licensure, and BLS required.
