Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in a Critical Care/Neuro float pool role. Provides assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized patient care on a nursing unit, with supervision of non-RN staff and potential charge nurse responsibilities. Delivers education to patients and families, collaborates with the healthcare team, and supports adherence to unit policies. Requires BSN preferred, CT RN license, and BLS; 1 year acute nursing experience; Neuro-focused skills including airway management, tracheostomy care, ventilator support, and neuro-specific procedures. RN will work in the San Mateo, CA area and may participate in float coverage across units as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- BSN preferred
- 1 Year acute nursing experience required
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
- Proficient in use of computer software to include electronic patient records
- Experience in Neuro care and procedures
- Critical Care or Emergency experience preferred
