Job Summary
Delivers direct patient care to critically ill and high-acuity patients in the Emergency Department, ICU, and CCU. Performs comprehensive assessments, develops individualized care plans, and monitors patient conditions while administering medications and interventions per hospital policy. Coordinates patient-focused teams to provide seamless care across clinical settings, utilizing case management expertise to integrate patient and provider relationships. Floats between units based on patient care needs and staffing requirements. Requires current New York State RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certification, and at least two years of acute care experience. Salary range is $55.13 to $64.36 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current New York State RN License
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Minimum 2 years' nursing experience in an acute care setting
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- ANA certification or certification from appropriate agency in specialty
