Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Critical Care (CCU) on nights (7:00 pm–7:30 am), 36 hours per week. Manages individualized nursing care using the nursing process, including medication administration, plan of care development and updates, patient/family-centered care, safety and quality practices, and compliance with hospital policies. Responsibilities include medication administration and reconciliation, documentation of care, planning and communicating patient care, ensuring safety protocols (hand hygiene, PPE), discharge planning, professional development, technology use (Lotus Notes and department software), and maintaining privacy and security of patient information. Requires collaboration with clinical team, ethical decision-making, and effective communication to advocate for the patient and family. Minimum education is graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; RN licensure required with department-specific certifications potentially required (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC, TCAR, etc.). Prior acute care RN experience preferred.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification, Emergency Response Training Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification may be required
