Job Summary
Manages individualized, outcome oriented nursing care through the use of the nursing process in the Critical Care CCU setting. Provides and coordinates care including medication administration, care planning, documentation, and patient/family engagement, with emphasis on safety, policy adherence, and high-quality outcomes. Requires RN licensure and adherence to applicable nursing standards, with potential certification requirements (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC, TCAR) as department needs dictate. 7pm-7:30am nights on a 36-hour week schedule; role emphasizes critical thinking, patient-centered communication, and interprofessional collaboration in an inpatient hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Licensure as RN (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification may be required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification may be required
- Emergency Response Training Certification may be required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification may be required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) may be required
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification may be required
