Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) assigned to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) working 36 hours per week with night shifts (7pm-7:30am, 3 shifts/week). Responsibilities include medication administration, medication reconciliation, documentation of patient care, planning and updating individualized care plans, ensuring patient safety and quality, facilitating discharge planning, maintaining a culture of safety, utilizing technology (Lotus Notes, department software), complying with regulatory and privacy standards, and collaborating with patients and families to deliver patient-centered care across age groups. Minimum education notes graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with RN licensure; acute care RN experience preferred; various ACLS/BLS and specialty certifications may be required depending on department.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum Work Experience: Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification may be required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification may be required
- Emergency Response Training Certification may be required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification may be required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification may be required
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) Certification may be required
- Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification may be required
