Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Critical Care (CCU) on night shift (36 hours/week, 7pm-7:30am, three nights) providing individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care using the nursing process. Responsibilities include medication administration and reconciliation, plan of care development and documentation, patient and family education and engagement, safety and quality practices, professional development, and compliance with hospital policies. Requires admission assessment, discharge planning, accurate documentation, and adherence to regulatory and privacy standards. Certifications and ongoing education related to ICU nursing and patient care (e.g., BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC/TCAR as required by department) are relevant; familiarity with MA Nurse Practice Act and hospital systems (e.g., Lotus Notes) is expected. Minimum education noted as Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with RN licensure; acute care RN experience preferred. Emphasizes patient-family centered care, ethical considerations, and collaboration across disciplines to ensure high-quality, safe patient outcomes.
